Tolles Starterpaket für Fingerboardfans und Bastler! Schöne Furnierauswahl, solide Presse und gute Bohrlöcher! Mitgelieferter Handbohrer erleichtert das preziese Bohren. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die mitgelieferte Laubsäge, sie lässt sich schwer Einspannen und lockert sich schnell beim Sägen. Alles in Allem das perfekte Fingerboardbau-Set!!!

Just to show the difference:) I was so inspired by fingerboarding that made one myself put of...aluminium foil! It took me quite a while...my son was impressed and amusez, attached the wheels to.it from Tech deck, and it actually worked! He took it to school and the children laughed, in a good way. We have moved on to Creskate, but I still keep my foil deck:)
The first boards took ages, but now my son is getting hang of it. Had a good time with a friend today, showing him his kit and gluing some veneers for a birthday present board. The friend was clearly impressed:)
A new hobby During the Christmas holidays, on our way from the cinema, we dropped in the Flying tiger store, where I bought my 10-year-old son and his friend fingerboards. It brought happy memories of my elder boys who had enjoyed fingerboarding in their pre-teen years many years ago. I didn't give it much thought until I realised that fingerboarding became viral in my boy's class, and he was the one who started the trend. From the £3 boards, we moved on to Tech deck boards of all kinds: preassembled, build-it-yourself, multipack and individual boards. Seeing my boy with a miniscule screwdriver, assembling, reassembling, changing wheels, ordering grip paper at Amazon, I had an idea. My son is about to start high school. After six peaceful years in a small and friendly primary, he will be thrown into a different world of unfamiliar older boys and girls in a big busy high school. There are two main problems waiting for him: lots of screen time and making new friends. Starting a new cool hobby might help with both. So after some research, I found DIY fingerboard kits. Bingo! I ordered a kit at Creskate for my son's 11th birthday. I realised that it would be quite a challenging hobby and was prepared to help. Little did I know what a journey, full of dangers, tears and sweat, was ahead of us. When Alexey returned from the summer camp, the first thing he saw was the Creaskate fingerboard kit. He couldn't believe his eyes! He imagined dozens of custome-made fingerboards and smiled. The next morning was spent watching the videos and making the boards. And here we come to the first problem: expectations vs reality. It looked so easy and perfect in the videos, but the reality was quite grim. The gluing bit was easy and straightforward and then we were faced with a Drilling Nightmare. I am as far from DIY as you can imagine. The most challenging DIY project I have ever encountered is baking buns and painting rocks. I had no knowledge of drills and didn't realise that the drilling was supposed to be done with the penwise, included. I ordered a mini drill that turned out to be an electric screwdriver. It was so cute that we decided to adopt it. The next purchase was in fact, a mini drill, and it worked. Later I discovered that the penwise actually does the job but the process is slow. At this stage we realised, that Alexey hadn't watched the learning tutorial to the end, and what he had watched, he had not watched attentively enough. So, back to square one. This time we were watching the video together, and I pointed out to all the important bits that Alexey had missed. While ordering the drills, we lost a couple of days, and he was losing interest and confidence. But I didn't. The fret saw turned out to be quite difficult to use. It was very handy that my son had been taught at school how to use it in Year 2, but the Year 2 projects were way easier. I could not help at all. I suggested watching a YouTube tutorial how to use a fret saw, but Alexey refused. The boards that he sawed were very uneven and pretty ugly, nothing like in the Crescate video. The sanding block provided in the pack, was sanded to dust with no effect. I ordered a pack of six sanding blocks of various roughness. They came and did the job! Together we admired the lovely smooth board that appeared as a result of an hour's rigorous sanding. Then the grip skin was attached, but attaching the wheels was another difficult story. The holes that we enthusiasticlly drilled with a mini drill, were too big, and the tracks dropped from the board. Alexey built another board, and this time quite quickly. He carefully drilled the holes making sure not to make them too big. This time everything worked perfectly. The lesson learned from our experience: If you are buying the Creskate kit for a child, you should be a person who is comfortable with DIY and have lots of equipment at home. Otherwise, be prepared to take a holiday to do the project together. Also, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Keep in mind the age and level of patience and commitment. I thought initially that it could turn into a little business for my son, but can see now that before you can sell anything, you must invest a lot. Wheels, trucks, veneers are expensive. I am personally prepared for any expense as long as it keeps my son from the screen and provides a cool hobby that can be shared with friends. The next step is home made ramps. My dream is epoxy resin, and we could also try clay. I hope that helps. Many thanks. Kind regards, Liudmila

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell the quality was on point. Everything about it is high quality, the rail, the bag and everything to it. Grinds and slides feel SUPER smooth and buttery. And, it's perfect for taking with when you're traveling. Great job CreSkate for making an awesome rail for anyone of any age to shred!
I have Know 3 molds, 2 experts and 1 normal and 4 shapers, and i will buy my knew one. It's truly incredible how you can build your perfect fingerboard. The Mold Configuartor is a very professional tool. I work only with the finest woods, doing marquetry work, and I'm delighted with the result. This kit is exceptional except for one flaw. The kit doesn't include a fretsaw, sand block, or a 0.6 mm drill bit. you have to buy these separately since you need them to make a board.
Die Produkte von Create Your Skate sind mega - auch als Anfänger kann man Super-Fingerboards bauen. Zudem hilft Dennis (der Inhaber) bei Fragen schnell und kompetent. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen !

Loving the Beginner Construction kit! Being able to build my own high-quality fingerboards is such a fun experience and has rewarded me with some cool, high quality decks that I get to put my own art on and cut down to my ideal shape and size! The bonus of bundling it with the coloured veneers lets me practice at making some truly unique decks to find what I like and what works for me! Can't wait to keep making more decks and really perfect this craft.
